Anthony Edwards' Ridiculous Shot Is Going Viral In Timberwolves-76ers Game

Anthony Edwards made a tough shot during Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves are in Philadelphia, facing off against Joel Embiid the 76ers.

During the first half, Edwards made a tough shot that is getting a lot of attention on social media (he was also fouled on the play).

Edwards spun between two defenders and made the impressive shot off the backboard.

Edwards entered the matchup with averages of 24.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 45.2% from the field and 38.3% from the three-point range in 22 games.

The Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 20-5 record in their first 25 games.

They are 9-1 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Timberwolves defeated the Miami Heat (in Florida) by a score of 112-108.

In 40 minutes of playing time, Edwards had 32 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks while shooting 13/25 from the field and 2/9 from the three-point range.

Following the 76ers, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Thursday evening when they host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers at the Target Center in Minnesota.

Edwards was the first pick in the 2020 NBA Draft out of Georgia and is in his fourth season in the league.

He is coming off a season where he made his first NBA All-Star Game and led the Timberwolves to the playoffs for the second straight season.
