Anthony Edwards Throws Down Ferocious Dunk In Timberwolves-Wizards Game

Anthony Edwards threw down a dunk during Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves are in Washington, D.C., facing off against the Wizards.   

During the game, All-Star guard Anthony Edwards threw down a big dunk. 

The former Georgia star drove by his defender and finished off the highlight at the rim with a lot of power.  

Edwards continues to prove that he is among the best dunkers in the league and is clearly one of the most exciting players. 

He came into the evening with averages of 25.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 37.5% from the three-point range in 40 games. 

The Timberwolves are also one of the best teams in the NBA. 

They are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 30-13 record in their first 43 games. 

Currently, the Timberwolves are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 6-4 over their last ten games. 

Following the Wizards, they will travel to New York to face off against the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday evening at Barclays Center.

On the road, the Timberwolves are 13-9 in 22 games played away from the Target Center. 

As for the Wizards, they are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 7-35 record in their first 42 games. 

They are in the middle of a four-game losing streak and are 1-9 over their last ten games. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Wizards will remain at home to host the Utah Jazz on Thursday evening.
