Ben Simmons' Impressive Move Went Viral In Spurs-Nets Game

On Saturday evening, the Brooklyn Nets hosted the San Antonio Spurs at Barclays Center in New York.

The Nets had control for most of the game and won by a score of 123-103.

Nic Claxton led the way with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Ben Simmons had a good game and put up 13 points, three rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks while shooting 6/7 from the field in 22 minutes of playing time. 

During the fourth quarter, the three-time NBA All-Star had an impressive highlight that got a lot of views on social media.

Simmons drove to the basket, pulled off a spin move and nailed a fadeaway jump shot. 

Simmons is in his second season playing for the Nets and is averaging 7.0 points, 8.6 rebounds and 6.4 assists per contest while shooting 62.7% from the field in 11 games. 

With the victory, the Nets improved to 21-31 in 52 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They also snapped a three-game losing streak, and are now 13-16 in the 29 games they have played at Barclays Center. 

Following the Spurs, the Nets will remain at home to host Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics on Tuesday evening in New York. 

As for the Spurs, they are the 15th seed in the Western Conference and dropped to 10-43 in 53 games. 

They are in the middle of a seven-game losing streak and will now visit the Toronto Raptors on Monday evening.
