BREAKING: Brooklyn Nets And Toronto Raptors Reportedly Make A Trade

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Nets and Raptors have made a trade.

UPDATE: Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reports that Spencer Dinwiddie will likely be waived by Toronto.   

UPDATE: ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Thad Young will also be traded to Brooklyn. 

Young is averaging 5.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest while shooting 62.1% from the field in 15 games.  

On Thursday evening, the Brooklyn Nets will host the Cleveland Cavaliers at Barclays Center in New York.  

Before the game, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the team made a trade with the Toronto Raptors. 

Via Wojnarowski: "The Raptors are trading Dennis Schroder to the Nets for Spencer Dinwiddie, sources tell ESPN."

Schroder is averaging 13.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 6.1 assists per contest while shooting 44.2% from the field and 35.0% from the three-point range in 51 games. 

He is in his 11th season in the league and has also spent time with the Atlanta Hawks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets. 

Right now, the Nets are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 20-30 record in 50 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 4-6 over their last ten games. 

As for Dinwiddie, he is averaging 12.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists per contest while shooting 39.1% from the field and 32.0% from the three-point range in 48 games. 

In addition to Brooklyn, he has also spent time with the Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards. 

The Raptors are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with an 18-33 record in 51 games. 

They are 2-8 over their last ten games.
