BREAKING: DeMar DeRozan Made NBA History In Nuggets-Bulls Game

On Tuesday evening, the Chicago Bulls hosted the Denver Nuggets at the United Center.    

During the game, DeMar DeRozan made NBA history by moving up on the all-time scoring list.  

DeRozan came into the evening with 22,183 career points, and he has now moved ahead of Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler (22,195) for 35th on the list. 

The former USC star finished the game with 14 points, five rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 3/13 from the field and 1/4 from the three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time.  

DeRozan entered the matchup with averages of 22.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 44.4% from the field and 37.3% from the three-point range in 22 games.     

The Bulls lost Tuesday's game by a score of 114-106, so they are now 9-16 in their first 25 games, which has them as the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference.  

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and 7-7 in the 14 games they have hosted on their home floor in Chicago.   

Following the Nuggets, the Bulls will play their next game on Thursday evening when they visit the Miami Heat in Florida.  

As for the Nuggets, they improved to 16-9 in their first 25 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.  

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak, and will play their next game on Thursday when they host the Brooklyn Nets.
