BREAKING: Denver Nuggets Reportedly Make A Trade Before Game 4

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Denver Nuggets have made a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

On Friday evening, the Denver Nuggets will face off against the Miami Heat (on the road in Florida) for Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Since it's the Finals, 28 out of the 30 teams in the league are already in the offseason.

Therefore, franchises are looking ahead to the NBA Draft and free agency.

Before Game 4, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to a trade.

Wojnarowski's first tweet: "NBA Finals trade: The Denver Nuggets are acquiring the least favorable of Oklahoma City's first-round picks in 2024, the 37th pick in the 2023 draft and 2024 second-round pick for a protected 2029 first-round, sources tell ESPN."

Wojnarowski's second tweet: "The Nuggets are trying to maximize their championship window and this deal gives them some additional chances at low-cost contracts and trade tools. For OKC, another first-round pick deep into the future."

Wojnarowski's third tweet: "Denver still owes Oklahoma City a 2027 Top-5 protected first-round pick."

The Nuggets are the first seed in the Western Conference and have defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers through the first three rounds of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

Currently, they have a 2-1 lead over the Heat, so a victory would give them a 3-1 advantage heading back to Ball Arena in Denver for Game 5 on Wednesday night.

In addition to having one of the best teams in the NBA, the Nuggets have a core that is young enough to be a contender for several more seasons.
