On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Golden State Warriors at Crypto.com Arena for Game 6 of their second-round playoff series.

During the game, veteran point guard Dennis Schroder was ejected after receiving his second technical foul of the night.

Schroder is one of the best role players on the team and was inserted into the starting lineup for Game 6.

He finished his night with three points, two rebounds, five assists and one block while shooting 1/6 from the field and 1/2 from the three-point range in 25 minutes of playing time.

Losing Schroder for the rest of the game is a significant disadvantage for the Lakers.

That said, they have a big lead on the scoreboard going into the fourth quarter, so it's possible that the loss of Schroder won't have an impact on the outcome of the game.

The Lakers currently have a 3-2 lead in the series, so a victory would close out the Warriors.

In Game 5, the Warriors (trailing 3-1) were able to beat the Lakers 121-106.

If they are able to keep their season alive, then Game 7 will be back at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Sunday.

The winner of the series will advance to the Western Conference Finals and face off against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets (who beat the Phoenix Suns in six games).

Last year, the Lakers missed the playoffs, while the Warriors won their fourth NBA Championship in the previous eight seasons.
