BREAKING: Milwaukee Bucks Reportedly Sign Former Duke Star

According to Eric Nehm of The Athletic, the Milwaukee Bucks will sign Marques Bolden.

Marques Bolden is coming off a year where he played in the G League and averaged 4.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest while shooting 41.7% from the field in three regular season games.

He also appeared in three Showcase Cup games with averages of 2.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per contest.

On Tuesday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reported that Bolden will sign a training camp deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Via Nehm: "The Bucks are signing Marques Bolden to a training camp deal, per a league source.

Bolden, 25, also signed a training camp deal with the Bucks last offseason. He was eventually waived before the start of the 2022-23 season."

Bolden played his college basketball for Duke (three seasons) and, during his final year, averaged 5.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per contest while shooting 57.9% from the field in 35 games (21 starts).

He went undrafted in 2019 but was able to play in seven games for the Cleveland Cavaliers over two seasons.

In the NBA, the 25-year-old has career averages of 1.0 points and 1.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 33.3% from the field.

As for the Bucks, they are coming off a year where they were the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 58-24 record (the best in the NBA).

However, in just five games, they lost in the first round of the NBA playoffs to Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat.

The franchise won the 2021 NBA Championship but has only won one playoff series since then.
