UPDATE: Milwaukee Bucks Reportedly Sign Former NBA Slam Dunk Champion

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Milwaukee Bucks will sign Glenn Robinson III.

UPDATE: The Milwaukee Bucks have waived Glenn Robinson III.

Glenn Robinson III most recently played in the NBA during the 2020-21 season when he was a member of the Sacramento Kings.

That year, he averaged 5.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 42.4% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range in 23 games.

This summer, Robinson III was a free agent, and Michael Scotto of HoopsHype now reports that he will sign a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks

Via Scotto: "The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with former NBA Slam Dunk champion Glenn Robinson III, league sources told @hoopshype. The 29-year-old forward is the son of Bucks former No. 1 overall pick Glenn Robinson and has played seven seasons in the NBA."

Robinson III was initially the 40th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft out of Michigan and has played seven seasons in the league for the Indiana Pacers, Golden State Warriors, Detroit Pistons, Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers and Sacramento Kings.

His career averages are 5.9 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 45.7% from the field and 37.3% from the three-point range in 304 regular season games (he has also appeared in 12 NBA playoff games).

As for the Bucks, they are coming off a year where they were the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 58-34 record.

However, they lost to the Miami Heat in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

The Bucks will play their first regular season game on October 26 when they host the 76ers.
