BREAKING: Steph Curry Made NBA History In Warriors-Pacers Game

Steph Curry made NBA history during Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis.        

The Warriors had control for most of the night and won by a score of 131-109.  

Steph Curry was unbelievable and had 29 points on 8/9 shooting from the three-point range at halftime.    

The All-Star guard finished the game with 42 points, two rebounds, two assists and one block while shooting 15/22 from the field and 11/16 from the three-point range in only 30 minutes of playing time.  

The two-time MVP also made NBA history during the game, as he became the 34th player to reach 23,000 career points.  

He needs 148 points to move ahead of Hall of Famer Elgin Baylor (23,149) for 33rd on the all-time scoring list.  

Curry will turn 36 next month but is still among the ten best players in the league and is averaging 28.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 41.7% from the three-point range in 46 games. 

With the victory, the Warriors improved to 24-25 in 49 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference. 

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and will return home to host Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns on Saturday evening at the Chase Center.

As for the Pacers, they dropped to 29-24 in 53 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference.

On Saturday evening, they will visit the New York Knicks. 

Curry is in his 15th season in the NBA and has spent his entire career playing for Golden State.  

His career averages are 27.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest while shooting 45.9% from the field and 40.8% from the three-point range.
