On Thursday afternoon, the NBA trading deadline is at 3 P.M. Eastern Time, so there is a lot of movement expected around the league.

Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reports that the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a deal for Jae Crowder.

Charania: "The Milwaukee Bucks are acquiring Jae Crowder in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets for five second-round picks, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium."

Crowder hasn't played this season, and ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Thursday morning that he was heading to the Nets (from the Phoenix Suns) in the Kevin Durant trade.

He is a talented role player who has contributed to a lot of winning teams over his ten seasons in the NBA.

In 2020, he helped lead the Miami Heat to the NBA Finals, and in 2021 he helped the Suns reach the Finals.

Last season, Crowder averaged 9.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 steals per contest.

In addition to the Suns and Heat, the former Maquette star has also played for the Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and Memphis Grizzlies.

His career averages are 9.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals per contest in 735 games.

He has also played in an astonishing 107 NBA Playoffs games (he started in 86 of them).

Right now, the Bucks are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 37-17 record in 54 games.

They won the NBA Championship in 2021, and should be seen as a legitimate contender in 2023.
