Buddy Hield's Official Status For Hawks-76ers Game

Buddy Hield will make his 76ers debut on Friday.

On Friday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will host Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks in Pennsylvania.    

For the game, the 76ers will have Buddy Hield make his debut, as he is officially listed as available on the injury report.  

They acquired the former Oklahoma star in a trade with the Indiana Pacers on Thursday. 

Hield is averaging 12.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per contest while shooting 44.3% from the field and 38.4% from the three-point range in 52 games.  

He is in his eighth season in the league and has also spent time with the New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings. 

The 76ers will be getting an elite three-point shooter, as he has shot 40.1% from the three-point range for his career. 

Right now, the 76ers are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 30-20 record in 50 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games. 

Following the Hawks, the 76ers will travel to Washington, D.C., for a matchup with Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards on Saturday evening. 

As for the Hawks, they are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 22-29 record in 51 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 4-6 over their last ten games. 

After their matchup with the 76ers, the Hawks will return home to host Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets on Saturday evening at State Farm Arena in Georgia.
