Chet Holmgren's Dunk Went Viral In Thunder-Nuggets Game

Chet Holmgren had a big dunk during Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder were in Denver facing off against the Nuggets. 

The Thunder won the game by a score of 119-93, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 40 points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks. 

Chet Holmgren finished his night with 24 points, six rebounds, three assists and two blocks while shooting 9/14 from the field and 4/4 from the three-point range in 28 minutes of playing time.    

During the first half, Holmgren had a big highlight that got a lot of attention on social media.  

He drove straight to the basket and finished off a big dunk despite several defenders in the area. 

The Thunder improved to 21-9 in their fist 30 games, which has them as the second seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

On the road, the Thunder are 9-4 in the 13 games they have played away from Oklahoma City. 

Following the Nuggets, they will return home to host the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.

As for the Nuggets, they dropped to 23-11 in their first 34 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference.   

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and 13-3 in the 16 games they have hosted on their home floor in Denver, Colorado. 

Following the Thunder, the Nuggets will play their next game on Monday evening when they host Terry Rozier and the Charlotte Hornets.
