Chet Holmgren's Dunk Went Viral In Thunder-Pelicans Game

Chet Holmgren had an impressive highlight during Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder faced off against the New Orleans Pelicans in Louisiana. 

The Pelicans were playing without Zion Williamson, and the Thunder came away with a 107-83 victory.  

All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 31 points, four rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block while shooting 10/21 from the field and 3/8 from the three-point range in 32 minutes.  

During the game, Chet Holmgren had an incredible highlight that got a lot of attention on social media. 

The former Gonzaga star was being guarded by Larry Nance Jr. and spun by him, which led to a two-handed dunk.  

Holmgren finished his night with 20 points, 13 rebounds, one steal and two blocks while shooting 9/16 from the field and 2/6 from the three-point range in 30 minutes of playing time. 

The Thunder improved to 32-13 in their first 45 games, which has them as the first seed in the Western Conference.   

They are in the middle of a five-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games. 

Following the Pelicans, the Thunder will visit the Detroit Pistons on Sunday afternoon in Michigan. 

As for the Pelicans, they dropped to 26-19 in their first 45 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.  

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and 14-10 in 24 games at home. 

Following the Thunder, the Pelicans will now face off against Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday evening in Wisconsin.
