Chicago Bulls Star Says He Is Deleting His Social Media Apps

Two-time NBA All-Star Andre Drummond said he is deleting his social media apps.

Andre Drummond is in his 11th season in the NBA and his first playing for the Chicago Bulls

The former UConn star is averaging 6.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest in 62 games while shooting 60.8% from the field.

On Tuesday, the 29-year-old sent out a tweet saying that he was deleting his social media apps and changing his phone number.

Drummond: "Deleting all my social apps my Managment will take over , also changing my number .. Time to focus on my mental health . If you too are struggling with your mental health, you are not alone it’s okay to ask for help"

It's good to hear that Drummond is taking care of himself, and he is sending a good message to others who could be going through a tough time.

In addition to the Bulls, he has played for the Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons.

The best tenure of his career came with Detroit (where he made his two All-Star Games) and averaged 14.4 points, 13.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 blocks per contest over 591 regular season games.

Drummond also led the Pistons to the NBA Playoffs two different times.

Right now, the Bulls are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference, which is the final play-in tournament spot.

They are 36-39 in 75 games and 7-3 over their last ten.

On Wednesday night, the Bulls will host the Lakers at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
