Chris Paul Made NBA History In Warriors-Nuggets Game

Chris Paul made NBA history during Monday's game.

On Monday afternoon, the Golden State Warriors are in Denver facing off against the Nuggets.

During the first half, Chris Paul made NBA history by moving ahead of Kemba Walker (1,670) for 32nd on the all-time three-pointers list.

Following Walker, the next player for Paul to pass will be Hall of Famer Steve Nash (1,685).

Paul came into the day with averages of 8.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 38.9% from the field and 29.7% from the three-point range in 26 games.

While he is no longer a superstar, the 38-year-old is still a very reliable point guard.

The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 15-14 record in their first 29 games.

They got off to a slow start to the season but are now in the middle of a five-game winning streak.

Following the Nuggets, the Warriors will return home to host Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat at the Chase Center on Thursday evening in San Francisco.

Paul is in his 19th season in the NBA and his first playing for Golden State.

In addition to the Warriors, the future Hall of Famer has also spent time with the New Orleans Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder.

His career averages are 17.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 9.4 assists and 2.1 steals per contest in 1,240 games.
