Chris Paul Made NBA History In Warriors-Wizards Game

Chris Paul Made NBA history during Tuesday's game.

UPDATE: The Warriors won by a score of 123-112, and Chris Paul finished with nine points, four rebounds, six assists and four steals. 

On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors are playing the Washington Wizards in Washington, D.C.   

Chris Paul returned to action after being out since January 5. 

The legendary point guard made NBA history during the first half by moving ahead of Hall of Famer Steve Nash (1,685) for 32nd on the all-time three-pointers list

Following Nash, the next player of Paul to pass will be Dale Ellis (1,719).

Paul came into the evening with averages of 8.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 42.4% from the field and 36.1% from the three-point range in 32 games. 

In addition to the Warriors, he has also spent time with the New Orleans Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder. 

His career averages are 17.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 9.4 assists and 2.1 steals per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 36.9% from the three-point range in 1,246 regular season games. 

As for the Warriors, they are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 29-27 record in 56 games. 

They are 8-2 over their last ten games but coming off a 119-103 loss to Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets. 

Following their showdown with the Wizards, the Warriors will remain on the road and travel to New York City for a matchup with the Knicks on Thursday evening.
