Russell Westbrook had an intriguing 2022-23 season where he began the year with the Los Angeles Lakers but signed with the Los Angeles Clippers following a trade (and buyout) from the Utah Jazz.

Westbrook wasn't a good fit with the Lakers, but he was able to help the Clippers finish as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.

Despite losing in the first round to the Phoenix Suns, the future Hall of Famer was sensational during the 2023 NBA Playoffs with averages of 23.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocks per contest.

He has now entered the offseason, where he will be an unrestricted free agent (this summer), available to sign with any team in the league.

Recently, Westbrook was on the cover of Forbes, and the nine-time NBA All-Star made a post to Instagram with the photo.

His post has over 224,000 likes, and he had a heartfelt caption.

Westbrook captioned his post: "From inner city LA to Forbes cover, this is a full circle moment for me. I hope to inspire those building something bigger than themselves. Don't let anyone define you. Believe in yourself and forge your own path. We on the way brodie @dbeverlyjr"

The 2017 MVP spoke about his businesses and goals in the article written by Matt Craig

One quote that gained a lot of attention was his admission to Craig that he has a goal to become a billionaire.

The former UCLA star is one of the most popular players of all time and will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer one day.

In addition to the Clippers and Lakers, he has also played for the Washington Wizards, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder.
