Kyrie Irving's Thought-Provoking Tweet

Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving sent out a fascinating tweet.

Kyrie Irving is one of the most notable players in the NBA.

The 2016 NBA Champion has 4.7 million followers on Twitter and 19 million on Instagram.

After starting out the season with the Brooklyn Nets, Irving was sent to the Dallas Mavericks in a blockbuster trade that paired him with All-Star Luka Doncic.

However, the Mavs ended up missing the NBA Playoffs, so he has been in the offseason since April 9.

The former Duke star recently sent out an intriguing tweet

Irving on May 30: "“Basketball isn't a game; It's an art form”

And Earth wouldn’t be the same without ART.

Hélà"

The eight-time NBA All-Star typically sends out though-provoking tweets, and that post had over 5,000 likes and 320,000 impressions.

Irving has been relatively active on social media during his time off from playing, and he recently went on Instagram live (video via League Alerts) and spoke about his upcoming free agency.

Irving Via The Video: "I'm a free agent this summer, but I am in no rush to make a decision. And the speculation around my name from all these individuals that get on TV and have these personalities. All these people that have these platforms, and I'm talking about the TV personalities, the sports folk that try to mix sports with politics and lifestyle and s**t like that. When they speak on my name, and they're talking about potential teams that I'm going to, can ya'll please? Respectfully, like I'm asking you. Please stop paying attention to that. I am in no rush to make a decision."

Last season, he averaged a sensational 27.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 48.6% from the field.
