Damian Lillard's Instagram Post After Celtics-Bucks Game
On Thursday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks hosted Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics in Wisconsin.
The Bucks dominated the game from the start and won by a score of 135-102.
Bobby Portis Jr. led the way with 28 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 11/18 from the field and 5/6 from the three-point range in 22 minutes of playing time.
Damian Lillard returned to the starting lineup after a one-game absence and put up 21 points, four rebounds and four assists while shooting 6/12 from the field and 3/8 from the three-point range in 27 minutes of playing time.
After the game, the All-Star point guard made a post to Instagram.
Lillard captioned his post: "Right within… 💸 "
Lillard is now averaging 25.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 43.0% from the field and 35.2% from the three-point range in 35 games.
He is in his first season with the Bucks and has helped them get off to an excellent start.
With the victory over the Celtics, they improved to 26-12 in their first 38 games, which has them as the second seed in the Eastern Conference.
The Bucks are 5-5 over their last ten games and snapped a two-game losing streak.
Following the Celtics, they will host Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Saturday evening in Wisconsin.
At home, the Bucks have gone 17-4 in 21 games.
As for the Celtics, they dropped to a 29-9 record in their first 38 games, which still has them as the first seed in the Eastern Conference.
