Damian Lillard's Viral Instagram Post After Kings-Bucks Game

Damian Lillard made a post to Instagram after Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Sacramento Kings in Wisconsin. 

Damian Lillard made a game-winning buzzer-beater to give the Bucks a 143-142 victory in overtime.   

After the game, the All-Star point guard made a post to Instagram that had over 700,000 likes in less than 14 hours.     

Lillard captioned his post: "Y’all musta forgot like Roy Jones … 💸⌚️ "

Lillard finished the game with 29 points, four rebounds and eight assists while shooting 9/23 from the field and 5/13 from the three-point range in 41 minutes of playing time. 

With the victory, the Bucks improved to 28-12 in their first 40 games, which has them as the second seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

Following the Kings, the Bucks will travel to Ohio to face off against Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers. 

On the road, they are 9-8 in 17 games, while they have gone 19-4 in the 23 games they have played at home. 

Lillard is in his first year with Milwaukee after getting traded (via the Portland Trail Blazers) over the offseason. 

He is currently averaging 25.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 42.9% from the field and 35.4% from the three-point range in 37 games. 

The Bucks have made the playoffs for seven straight seasons and won the 2021 NBA Championship over the Phoenix Suns. 

As for the Kings, they dropped to 23-16 in their first 39 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.
