D'Angelo Russell's Block On James Harden Is Going Viral In Lakers-Clippers Game

D'Angelo Russell blocked James Harden during Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Los Angeles Clippers (as the road team) by a score of 127-116.  

The Lakers were playing without LeBron James, and Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with 25 points, 11 rebounds and ten assists. 

Despite the loss, D'Angelo Russell had another good game, putting up 27 points, five rebounds, ten assists and one block while shooting 9/21 from the field and 4/10 from the three-point range in 40 minutes of playing time.   

His one block came on James Harden and the highlight got a lot of attention on social media.   

Harden went up for a dunk, and Russell met him at the rim to swat the shot. 

With the loss, the Lakers fell to 22-23 in their first 45 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Western Conference.   

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and will now host the Chicago Bulls on Thursday evening. 

Russell has been on a roll as of late and has scored 20+ points in each of the previous four games. 

Meanwhile, the Clippers improved to 28-14 in their first 42 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.  

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

Following the Lakers, the Clippers are now headed to Canada to face off against the Toronto Raptors on Friday. 

Harden finished his night with 23 points, two rebounds, ten assists, one steal and one block.
