Darvin Ham's Honest Quote After Lakers-Rockets Game

Darvin Ham met with the media after the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Houston Rockets.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers played the third game of their four-game road trip against the Houston Rockets in Texas.

They got off to a slow start, losing the first quarter 32-19, and were never able to get back into the game.

The Rockets won by a score of 128-94, and everyone on their team scored.

The Lakers will finish their road trip when they play Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns (in Arizona) on Friday evening.

Following the tough loss, head coach Darvin Ham met with the media and shared an honest statement (h/t Spectrum SportsNet).

"At the end of the day, you know, no one's gonna feel sorry for you, especially when you're a Los Angeles Laker. Our biggest thing now, being 0-3 on this road trip, is to go into Phoenix on Friday and just be the hardest working, most competitive, most together team on the floor for 48 minutes."

The Lakers are now 3-5 in their first eight games and in the middle of a three-game losing streak.

They have gone 0-5 in the five games they have played on the road but are 3-0 at home in Los Angeles, California.

Rui Hachimura led the team with 24 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block while shooting 10/14 from the field and 2/3 from the three-point range in 26 minutes of playing time.

As for the Rockets, they have now won four games in a row and improved to 4-3 in their first seven games of the new season.
