Dejounte Murray's Game-Winning Shot Is Going Viral In Magic-Hawks Game

Dejounte Murray made the game-winning shot in Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Atlanta Hawks hosted the Orlando Magic at State Farm Arena in Georgia.

With the score tied at 104-104, Dejounte Murray made the game-winning buzzer-beater to give the Hawks a 106-104 victory.      

Murray finished his night with 26 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals while shooting 11/18 from the field and 1/4 from the three-point range in 36 minutes of playing time.  

The 2022 NBA All-Star is now averaging 21.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 38.3% from the three-point range in 40 games. 

Murray's 26 led the Hawks, and Trae Young also had 18 points and 12 assists.  

With the victory, they improved to 17-23 in their first 40 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference.  

The Hawks are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 8-11 in the 19 games they have hosted at State Farm Arena. 

Following the Magic, they will travel to Florida to face off against Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat on Friday evening. 

As for the Magic, Paolo Banchero led the way with 26 points, four rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block while shooting 8/24 from the field in 38 minutes. 

They dropped to 22-19 in their first 41 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

Following the Hawks, the Magic will now host Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday evening.
