Dennis Schroder's Viral Tweet After Lakers Beat Warriors

Dennis Schroder sent out a tweet after Game 4.

On Monday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors by a score of 104-101 to take Game 4 of their second-round playoff series.

With the victory, they now have a commanding 3-1 lead in the series, so they can close out the Warriors with a win in Game 5 on Wednesday night at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Veteran point guard Dennis Schroder played 35 minutes and had ten points, three rebounds, three assists and one steal while shooting 5/9 from the field.

The star of the night was Lonnie Walker, who scored all 15 of his points in the fourth quarter (and made two clutch free throws in the final seconds).

After the game, Schroder sent out a tweet about Walker that went viral on Twitter.

His post had over 20,000 likes and 560,000 impressions in less than three hours.

Schroder tweeted: "15 POINTS IN THE 4TH QUARTER?! THAT’S TUFF! đŸ’¯đŸ”¥ @lonniewalker_4"

The Lakers finished the regular season as the seventh seed in the Western Conference, but they have one of the most talented rosters in the league and defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round in six games.

They are now a perfect 5-0 at home during the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

If the Lakers lose Game 5, they will host Game 6 back in Los Angeles on Friday evening.

The winner of the series will advance to the Western Conference Finals and face off against either the Phoenix Suns or the Denver Nuggets.
