On Monday night, the Los Angeles Lakers had their season come to an end when they lost Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals to the Denver Nuggets by a score of 113-111.

Despite getting swept, the Lakers still had a tremendously impressive year.

At one point, they were 2-10, and the Lakers were also the seventh seed in the Western Conference, pulling off upsets over the Memphis Grizzlies (second seed) and the Golden State Warriors (defending NBA Champions) through the first two rounds.

Veteran point guard Dennis Schroder was in his second tenure with the franchise and was a valuable role player the entire year.

The 29-year-old averaged 12.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest while shooting 41.5% from the field during the regular season.

He was also a reliable defender, especially when the Lakers were playing Steph Curry and the Warriors in the second round.

In Game 4, the former first-round pick was in the starting lineup and had 13 points, two rebounds, five assists and two steals in 38 minutes of playing time.

After the Lakers were eliminated, Schroder sent out a tweet (on Tuesday night).

Schroder tweeted: "Thank you all for your support throughout the playoffs 💛💜"

The Lakers will enter an intriguing offseason as they have many free agents, including Schroder, who is unrestricted (and can sign with any team in the league).

In addition to the Lakers, he has also played for the Atlanta Hawks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets.
