Denver Nuggets Sign Former Stanford Forward

The Denver Nuggets have signed Bryce Wills.

Bryce Wills is coming off a year where he played in the G League for the Grand Rapids Gold (G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets).

Over 31 regular season games, he had averages of 6.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest (he also appeared in 13 Showcase Cup games).

On Wednesday, Wills signed a contract with the Nuggets.

Via Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports: "Nuggets announce they've signed Bryce Wills, a 6-6 guard who played for their Grand Rapids G-League affiliate last season. He'll likely play there this season too. Also, Denver has waived Amida Brimah, Au’Diese Toney and Jamorko Pickett. They'll likely land in Grand Rapids."

Wills played three seasons of college basketball for the Stanford Cardinals.

Over 78 games, he had career averages of 7.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.9% from the field.

The Nuggets have gone 2-2 in their first four preseason games and are coming off a 116-103 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers in California on Tuesday night.

They will play their final game of the preseason on Thursday (also against the Clippers in California).

The Nuggets are coming off a fantastic year where they were the first seed in the Western Conference.

They beat the Minnesota Timberwolves (first round), Phoenix Suns (second round), Los Angeles Lakers (Western Conference Finals) and Miami Heat (NBA Finals) to win the 2023 NBA Championship.

On October 24, the Nuggets will play their first game of the regular season when they host the Lakers in Colorado.
