Did NBA Refs Blow A Major Call In Heat-Nuggets Game?

The Miami Heat beat the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

On Sunday evening, the Miami Heat pulled off a big upset in Game 2 of the NBA Finals when they beat the Denver Nuggets by a score of 111-108.

With the win for the Heat, the series is now tied up at 1-1 and Games 3 and 4 will be in Miami on Wednesday and Friday night.

In the fourth quarter of Sunday's game, Jamal Murray drove to the basket and shot a floater that appeared to be on the way down.

All-Star center Bam Adebayo blocked the shot, and there was no goaltending call on the play.

While it's not the reason the Nuggets lost, the play was crucial and could have made a significant difference (if it were called a goaltending violation).

Via John Hollinger of The Athletic: "1) This is NOT why Denver lost

2) Crew had a rough night both ways, but ...

3) I'm sorry you absolutely cannot cannot CAN NOT miss this call as an NBA ref. Aside from the ball obviously going down, any time a player reaches behind him like that you know it's 100% a goaltend"

Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic had a game-high 41 points to go with 11 rebounds and four assists on 16/28 shooting from the field in 42 minutes of playing time.

However, the Heat had three players score 21+ points, and the team shot a phenomenal 48.6% from the three-point range (17/35).

In addition, they had 28 assists (five more than the Nuggets) and 11 turnovers (two less than the Nuggets).
