BREAKING: Dillon Brooks Ejected From Pacers-Rockets Game

Dillon Brooks was ejected from Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Houston Rockets are hosting the Indiana Pacers in Texas for their first preseason game of the year.

Dillon Brooks had spent the first six seasons of his career with the Memphis Grizzlies but signed with the Houston over the offseason, so this was his debut in a Rockets uniform.

However, his first game did not last long, as the former Oregon star has been ejected

Via ClutchPoints: "Dillon Brooks was ejected just 5 minutes into his preseason debut with the Rockets after hitting Daniel Theis below the belt on this play 😬"

Brooks finished his night with one assist in five minutes of playing time.

This past year, he averaged 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest while shooting 39.6% from the field and 32.6% from the three-point range in 73 regular season games for the Grizzlies (who finished as the second seed in the Western Conference).

He also appeared in six NBA playoff games (they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round).

Brooks was initially the 45th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft and has been an excellent role player.

His career averages are 14.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest while shooting 41.6% from the field and 34.2% from the three-point range in 345 games (he has also appeared in 22 NBA playoff games).

As for the Rockets, they are coming off a year where they were the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 22-60 record.
