Doc Rivers' Blunt Quote After Bucks-Grizzlies Game
On Thursday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks faced off against the Memphis Grizzlies in Tennessee for their final game before the All-Star break.
The Bucks shockingly lost by a score of 113-110, and are now just 3-7 in their first ten games with Doc Rivers at the helm.
After the tough loss, Rivers met with the media and one of his quotes went viral.
Rivers: "We had some guys here, and we had some guys in Cabo."
The Bucks will now be off until February 23, when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center.
With the loss, they dropped to 35-21 in 56 games, which still has them as the third seed in the Eastern Conference.
However, the Bucks are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and had already been coming off a 26-point loss to the Miami Heat.
Despite the loss, Giannis Antetokounmpo had another good game and put up 35 points, four rebounds and 12 assists while shooting 15/17 from the field in 37 minutes of playing time.
Damian Lillard also had 24 points, five rebounds, seven assists and one steal but shot just 7/21 from the field and 3/13 from the three-point range.
As for the Grizzlies, they are the 13th seed in the Western Conference and improved to 20-36 in 56 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 2-8 over their last ten games.
Following the Bucks, the Grizzlies will host the Los Angeles Clippers on February 23.
