Draymond Green Made NBA History In Warriors-Kings Game 2

Draymond Green made NBA history during Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the Golden State Warriors were in Sacramento facing off with the Kings for Game 2 of their first-round playoff series.

The Warriors lost 114-106, which now drops them into a 2-0 hole (Games 3 and 4 will be on their home floor).

De'Aaron Fox had 24 points and nine assists for the Kings, while Steph Curry led the Warriors with 28 points and six assists.

During the game, four-time All-Star Draymond Green made NBA history by moving up on the all-time playoff assists list.

The former Michigan State star came into the night with 903 assists, which ranked 21st on the list.

He finished the game with five assists, which moved him ahead of Mark Jackson (905) for 20th.

The next player for Green to pass on the list is Maurice Cheeks (922).

During the fourth quarter, Green ended up getting ejected for a flagrant 2 foul on Domantas Sabonis.

With the loss, the Warriors are now 11-32 in the 43 games they have played on the road away from the Chase Center in San Francisco this season.

For reference, they are an outstanding 33-8 in the 41 games they have hosted on their home floor.

The franchise has won the NBA Championship in four out of the previous eight seasons (and been to the Finals six times in that span), but they have looked beatable this year.

They finished the season as the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-38 record.

Game 3 will be on Thursday night.
