The NBA has been extremely popular on social media over the last decade.

Out of all professional sports leagues, the NBA seems to be the most prevalent on Twitter regarding news, rumors and opinions.

One of the biggest reasons for this is the excellent work of ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski (he has over 5.9 million followers).

The long-time reporter is known to report highly accurate news well in advance of its official announcement.

One of Wojnarowski's most notorious reporting talents is his ability to reveal draft picks before the commissioner announces them.

That said, he recently appeared on The Ryen Russillo Podcast and shared that he will not be reporting all of the picks in advance this year (h/t ClutchPoints).

Wojnarowski via Russillo's Podcast: "I'm not doing the picks this year. Now that doesn't mean, yeah, at the top of the Draft, if all of sudden something weirds happening at two or three, yes, but the pick-by-pick, I don't think it has value anymore for me or for ESPN. Listen, I started this a long time ago. I created the Twitter account the day of the Draft. I think it's 2009. It was just I had all this information that I was getting in real-time, and I'm like, by the time you put it up on the site, it's a vapor, and I said, hey Twitter, this is a place for it. I think now, for me; it's important to stay on top of the trades and the movement. And be able to do a little more storytelling of what's going on, on the board, in real-time in the Draft, instead of having my head buried trying to get New Orleans' pick at 14 that obviously is gonna be out momentarily on the show. So yeah, I'm not gonna do it. You have 120 minutes, you gotta decide what's the best use of that time, and I think the best use of that time is not getting the pick out."

The 2023 NBA Draft will take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on June 22.
