Giannis Antetokounmpo Made NBA History In Bucks-Knicks Game

Giannis Antetokounmpo made NBA history during Saturday's game.

On Saturday afternoon, the Milwaukee Bucks faced off against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.

The Bucks won the game by a score of 130-111, and Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 28 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block while shooting 11/16 from the field in 33 minutes of playing time.

Antetokounmpo also made NBA history by moving ahead of Grant Hill (17,137) for 99th on the all-time scoring list.

Following Hill, the next player for him to pass will be Chris Webber (17,182).

Antetokounmpo is in the middle of another excellent season and is now averaging 30.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks per contest while shooting 60.5% from the field in 28 games.

With the victory, the Bucks improved to 22-7 in their first 29 games, which has them tied with the Boston Celtics for the first seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are in the middle of a seven-game winning streak and 6-5 in the 11 games they have played on the road away from Wisconsin.

Following Saturday's game, the Bucks will face off against the Knicks (again) at Madison Square Garden on Monday afternoon.

Antetokounmpo is in his 11th season in the NBA (all with the Bucks) and has established himself among the greatest players of all time.

The future Hall of Famer has career averages of 22.9 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 54.0% from the field.
