Giannis Antetokounmpo Made NBA History In Pacers-Bucks Game

Giannis Antetokounmpo moved up on the NBA's all-time scoring list during Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo finished the game with 64 points, which is a team record. 

On Wednesday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks are hosting the Indiana Pacers in Wisconsin.  

During the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo made NBA history by moving up on the all-time scoring list

Antetokounmpo came into the evening with 16,953 career points, and he has now moved ahead of Bob Cousy (16,960) for 100th on the list.  

Following Cousy, the next player for Antetokounmpo to pass will be Grant Hill (17,137). 

Antetokounmpo entered the matchup with averages of 30.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 61.7% from the field and 24.3% from the three-point range in 22 games.  

At halftime (against the Pacers), the two-time MVP had 21 points, seven rebounds, one assist, three steals and one block while shooting 7/10 from the field in 18 minutes of playing time. 

The Bucks are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-7 record in their first 23 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Chicago Bulls by a score of 133-129 (in overtime) on Monday. 

In 41 minutes of playing time, Antetokounmpo had 32 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and two steals while shooting 9/13 from the field. 

Following the Pacers, the Bucks will play their next game on Saturday evening when they host the Detroit Pistons. 

As for the Pacers, they are 13-8 in their first 21 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.  

They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak.
