Gigantic News Reported About Anthony Davis

On his podcast with Marc Stein (#thisleague UNCUT), Chris Haynes reported news about Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis.

On Sunday night, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Orlando Magic 111-105 at home in California.

They are now 35-37 in 72 games, which has them tied with the Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves for the ninth seed in the Western Conference.

With just ten games left in their season, every game the rest of the way is critical for their place in the standings.

Recently, eight-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis missed the second night of a back-to-back against the Houston Rockets (which the Lakers lost 114-110).

On his podcast with Marc Stein (#thisleague UNCUT), Chris Haynes reported details on why Davis missed the game and his status for the next back-to-back.

Haynes on #thisleague UNCUT: "The way it was explained to me is that A.D. had to pick which back-to-back to play in. The back-to-back last week, and then their last back-to-back is April 4, April 5. April 4 in Utah and then April 5, Clippers. What I was told, how it was explained to me, is A.D. will play in that back-to-back."

The former Kentucky star is in the middle of another fantastic season with averages of 25.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.1 blocks per contest in 46 games (while shooting 55.9% from the field).

He missed an extended period early in the season with a foot injury, so it makes sense why the Lakers would want to be cautious.

On Wednesday evening, the Lakers will play their next game when they host Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns.
