Draymond Green And Klay Thompson Are The Only Players In NBA History To Do This

Draymond Green and Klay Thompson have found a ton of success alongside one another on the Golden State Warriors through the years and they own a playoff record together.

Not only is Stephen Curry responsible for the success of the Golden State Warriors through the years, but Draymond Green and Klay Thompson have equally contributed to the formation of this dynasty.

All three players will be in the Hall-of-Fame and have their numbers retired by the Warriors when their careers come to an end, but this veteran core in Golden State is focused on winning more championships.

For Thompson and Green, winning in the playoffs seems to come easy, as they are the only two players in NBA history to have won 70 percent of their playoffs games (min. 100 games played).

Klay and Draymond have each played in a total of 145 playoff games with the Warriors and in those games, the Warriors have gone 102-43 (70.3 percent).

Since the start of the 2014-15 season, the Warriors have gone 93-34 (73.2 percent) in the postseason, winning four titles in this span.

Looking at just Klay Thompson, the Golden State Warriors have made the NBA Finals each year season the 2014-15 season when he has been healthy and on the floor.

They may have struggled this season and only have a 44-38 record entering the playoffs, something we are not accustomed to seeing from the Warriors, but they are still the defending champions and as long as their core is healthy, they have a chance to win.

The fact that Draymond Green and Klay Thompson have each won 70.3 percent of their playoff games is remarkable and in a seven-game series, those percentages mean a lot!

Both Green and Thompson will once again be factors alongside Stephen Curry and the rest of the Warriors heading into the playoffs this year.
