Key Golden State Warriors Player Ruled Out Against Magic

Jonathan Kuminga has been ruled out for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Golden State Warriors will face off against the Orlando Magic in Florida.

For the game, the Warriors will be without one of their best players, as Jonathan Kuminga has been ruled out.

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic: "Jonathan Kuminga is out tonight in Orlando. Steve Kerr called it a minor issue. “Tendinitis in his knee. Hopefully giving him the night and tomorrow off (has him ready for Friday in Charlotte).”"

Kuminga is in the middle of a productive season with averages of 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest while shooting 52.9% from the field and 31.6% from the three-point range in 70 games.

The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-34 record in 71 games.

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Miami Heat by a score of 113-92.

Kuminga had 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists and one block while shooting 8/13 from the field and 0/2 from the three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time.

Following the Magic, the Warriors will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina.

As for the Magic, they are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 42-29 record in 71 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Sacramento Kings by a score of 109-107.

Following the Warriors, the Magic will play their next game on Friday evening when they host the Los Angeles Clippers.
