Golden State Warriors Player Trolls LeBron James On Instagram

Golden State Warriors player JaMychal Green posted an Instagram story trolling LeBron James after Game 5.

On Wednesday evening, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 121-106 to keep their season alive.

Six players on the Warriors scored in double-digits, and two-time MVP Steph Curry led the way with 27 points and eight assists.

The series is now 3-2 (in favor of the Lakers), with Game 6 on Friday night in Los Angeles, California.

There has been some recent chatter about flopping following comments Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made after Game 4.

Kerr after Game 4: "The Lakers are a team that plays with a lot of gamesmanship. They understand how to generate some calls. I thought they took some flops and were rewarded. I'll have to see the replays. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe those were all illegal screens, but it didn't feel like it watching it live."

He was also asked more about the matter on Tuesday (before Game 5).

After the Lakers lost Game 5, James was asked about the flopping allegations

Reporter: "The conversation in the last 48 hours from the Warriors' standpoint has been gamesmanship on your team and flopping. Do you feel like that affected anything in terms of the way the game was dealt with tonight on the court?"

James: "I just know that we, our coaching staff and us players, we don't work on flopping. That's not even a part of our game. Our game is to attack, attack the paint. We don't mind physical contact. We actually like the contact, and we don't shy away from it, so we're just not a team that goes out there looking for flopping opportunities. That's just not us. It's never been. It's actually never been any team that I've played on in my 20 years where we've been a flopping team, but it is what it is. They have their right to say what they want to say, but the game is always won in between the four lines, and we've gotta be better on Friday for sure."

On Thursday morning, Warriors player JaMychal Green shared ESPN's Instagram post of James' comments on his story.

Green edited the photo by adding a hat to James.

The post is going viral on Twitter, as many people have shared Green's Instagram story screenshot.

The Lakers and Warriors are two of the most popular teams in the league, so the post will likely be talked about constantly leading up to the pivotal Game 6.

Green is in his first season with the Warriors and had his best game of the 2023 NBA Playoffs (in Game 2 against the Lakers), when he was in the starting lineup and put up 15 points (on 6/9 shooting) in just 13 minutes.
