Jalen Brunson's Instagram Post After Wizards-Knicks Game

Jalen Brunson made a post to Instagram after Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the New York Knicks hosted the Washington Wizards at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.   

The Knicks won the game by a score of 113-109, and Jalen Brunson led the way with 41 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one block while shooting 14/27 from the field and 2/4 from the three-point range in 40 minutes.

After the game (on Friday), Brunson made a post to Instagram that had over 47,000 likes in less than eight hours.  

Brunson captioned his post: "We should do nova alumni night more often ✌🏽 @nyknicks"

With the victory, the Knicks improved to 25-17 in their first 42 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.  

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

In addition, the Knicks are 13-5 in the 18 games they have played on their home floor at Madison Square Garden. 

Following the Wizards, they will host the Toronto Raptors on Saturday evening. 

Brunson is averaging 26.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 47.2% from the field and 42.6% from the three-point range in 40 games. 

As for the Wizards, they dropped to 7-33 in their first 40 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference.  

They are 2-8 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Following the Knicks, the Wizards will host the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
