James Harden Made NBA History In Clippers-Bucks Game

James Harden moved up on the NBA's all-time games played list.

UPDATE: The Clippers lost by a score of 113-106, and James Harden finished with 29 points, four rebounds, eight assists and one block.

On Monday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers are facing off against the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin.   

2018 MVP James Harden is playing in his 1,055th career game, which moves ahead of Avery Johnson (1,054) and Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade (1,054) for 113th on the all-time regular season games played list

Following Johnson and Wade, the next players for Harden to pass will be Johnny Green (1,057) and Hall of Famer Manu Ginóbili (1,057).  

Harden entered the evening with averages of 17.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 44.3% from the field and 40.9% from the three-point range in 54 games.  

The Clippers are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 39-20 record in 59 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and have gone 5-5 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Clippers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 89-88. 

Harden had four points, five rebounds, ten assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 0/10 from the field and 0/6 from the three-point range in 34 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Bucks, the Clippers will travel to Texas to face off against Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets on Wednesday evening. 

In addition to the Clippers, Harden has also played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers. 

His career averages are 24.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 44.2% from the field and 36.5% from the three-point range.
