James Harden Made NBA History In Nuggets-Clippers Game

James Harden has moved up on the NBA's all-time games played list.

On Monday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers are hosting the Denver Nuggets in California. 

James Harden is playing in his 1,011th career regular season game, which ties Jermaine O'Neal for 137th on the all-time list

Following O'Neal, the next player for Harden to pass will be Antonio McDyess (1,015). 

Harden came into the evening with averages of 14.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 44.3% from the field and 34.5% from the three-point range in 10 games. 

The 2018 MVP was traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Clippers at the beginning of the season. 

Currently, the Clippers are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 7-8 record in their first 15 games. 

They are 4-6 over their previous ten games and most recently defeated the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 107-88. 

In 28 minutes of playing time, Harden had eight points, four rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 2/8 from the field and 2/6 from the three-point range. 

Following the Nuggets, the Clippers will play their next game when they visit the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday evening. 

Harden was the third pick in the 2009 NBA Draft out of Arizona State and is in his 15th season in the league. 

In addition to the Clippers and 76ers, the 2018 MVP has also spent time with the Brooklyn Nets, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder. 

His career averages are 24.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.5 steals per contest.
