James Harden Made NBA History In Raptors-Clippers Game

James Harden moved up on the NBA's all-time games played list.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers are hosting the Toronto Raptors in California.    

2018 MVP James Harden is playing in his 1,032nd career game, which moves ahead of Gail Goodrich and ties Mike Miller and Chet Walker for 128th on the NBA's all-time regular season games played list.   

Following Miller and Walker, the next player for Harden to pass will be Walter Davis (1,033).  

Harden entered the matchup with averages of 17.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 8.4 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field and 43.1% from the three-point range.  

The Clippers are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 23-13 record in their first 36 games.  

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Phoenix Suns by a score of 138-111. 

In 30 minutes of playing time, Harden had 19 points, seven rebounds and ten assists while shooting 6/8 from the field and 3/4 from the three-point range. 

Following the Raptors, the Clippers will visit Desmond Bane and the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday evening in Memphis, Tennessee. 

Harden is in his first season with the Clippers and has also spent time with the Brooklyn Nets, Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder over 15 seasons (he was the third pick in the 2009 NBA Draft). 

The ten-time NBA All-Star has career averages of 24.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 44.3% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range.
