Jaylen Brown's Dunk Is Going Viral In Magic-Celtics Game
On Friday evening, the Boston Celtics are hosting the Orlando Magic in Massachusetts.
During the game, All-Star Jaylen Brown had a huge dunk that is going viral on social media.
Brown caught a pass from Derrick White and threw down the massive slam dunk over Anthony Black (YouTube clip via the NBA).
Brown came into the evening with averages of 22.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 46.9% from the field and 33.8% from the three-point range in 22 games.
The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with an 18-5 record in their first 23 games.
They are 7-3 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
Most recently, the Celtics defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 116-107.
In 36 minutes of playing time, Brown had 22 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals while shooting 8/15 from the field.
Brown is in his eighth season in the NBA (all with the Celtics) and has helped lead the franchise to the Eastern Conference Finals five times.
Following Friday's game, the two teams will face off again on Sunday afternoon in Orlando.
As for the Magic, they haven't made the NBA playoffs since 2020 but are off to a fantastic start to the new season.
They are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-7 record in their first 23 games.
The Magic are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games.
