UPDATE: Jimmy Butler's Current Status For Celtics-Heat Game

UPDATE: Jimmy Butler has been ruled out.  

On Sunday afternoon, the Miami Heat will host Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics in Florida.   

For the game, six-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler is listed as questionable on the injury report due to personal reasons. 

Via Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald on Saturday afternoon: "The Heat is listing Butler as questionable for tomorrow's home game vs. Celtics because of personal reasons. But the hope remains that he'll be able to play."

Butler has played in 37 games and is averaging 21.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field and 44.0% from the three-point range. 

The Heat are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 28-24 record in 52 games.  

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 4-6 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Heat beat the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 116-104. 

In 34 minutes of playing time, Butler had 17 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, three steals and one block while shooting 5/12 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range.

Following the Celtics, the Heat will travel to Wisconsin for a matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday evening.  

As for the Celtics, they are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-12 record in 52 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games. 

Following the Heat, the Celtics will travel to New York to play the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday evening.
