Jimmy Butler's Official Status For Heat-Bucks Game

On Tuesday evening, the Miami Heat will be in Wisconsin for a matchup with Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

For the game, the Heat will be without their best player, as six-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler remains out due to personal reasons. 

Butler also missed the team's last game, so this will be his second straight out of the lineup. 

Via The Miami Heat on Monday: "#MIAvsMIL INJURY UPDATE: Josh Richardson (right shoulder dislocation), Terry Rozier (right knee sprain) & Jimmy Butler (personal reasons) have all been ruled out of tomorrow night’s game vs the Bucks."

Butler has played in 37 games and is averaging 21.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field and 44.0% from the three-point range.    

The Heat are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 28-25 record in 53 games.  

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Boston Celtics by a score of 110-106.   

Following the Bucks, the Heat will travel to Philadelphia to face off against the 76ers on Wednesday evening.  

As for the Bucks, they are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 35-19 record in 54 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Bucks beat the Denver Nuggets by a score of 112-95. 

Following the Heat, they will play the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday evening in Tennessee.
