Joel Embiid's Ridiculous Alley-Oop Is Going Viral In 76ers-Magic Game
On Friday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers are in Florida facing off against the Orlando Magic.
During the first half, 2023 MVP Joel Embiid had a huge highlight that is going viral on social media.
Embiid threw the ball off the glass (to himself) and slammed down a dunk.
Embiid came into the night with sensational averages of 35.1 points, 11.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.9 blocks per contest while shooting 53.8% from the field and 36.1% from the three-point range in 29 games.
The 76ers are also off to a solid start to the season, with a 26-13 record in their first 39 games, which has them as the third seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are 6-4 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
Most recently, the 76ers beat Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets by a score of 126-121.
In 39 minutes of playing time, Embiid had 41 points, seven rebounds, ten assists and one block while shooting 13/22 from the field and 3/6 from the three-point range.
Following the Magic, the 76ers will visit LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday evening in North Carolina.
As for the Magic, they are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 22-19 record in their first 41 games.
They are 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 106-104.
Following the 76ers, the Magic will host Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat on Sunday evening in Orlando, Florida.
