On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 120-109 on their home floor at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

Two-time MVP Steph Curry led the way with an incredible 39 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.

Jonathan Kuminga also had a productive night with 13 points, four rebounds, one assist and one block in 31 minutes of playing time.

The former seventh-overall pick shot an impressive 5-5 from the field (100%) and 1-1 from the three-point range (100%).

After the victory, he sent out a tweet that has nearly 8,000 likes.

Kuminga: "Great Team Win 💛💙#Dubnation"

Kuminga has played in 67 games this season and has averages of 9.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per contest.

He is also shooting 51.6% from the field and 35.8% from the three-point range.

The Warriors are a veteran-led team that has won the NBA Championship four times over the previous eight seasons (including last year).

Therefore, the 20-year-old has been in a unique spot where he was a recent lottery pick that is playing for a contender.

Right now, the Warriors are the sixth seed (the final guaranteed playoff spot) in the Western Conference with a 40-37 record in 77 games.

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and an amazing 31-8 in the 39 games they have hosted on their home floor at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

The Warriors will play their next game on Friday night against the Spurs (at home).
