Jonathan Kuminga's Viral Tweet After Warriors Beat Lakers

Jonathan Kuminga sent out a tweet after the Golden State Warriors won Game 2.

On Thursday evening, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 127-100 in Game 2 of their second-round playoff series at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

After losing Game 1 (117-112), the Warriors responded in a big way, winning the second and third quarters by a combined 37 points.

Jonathan Kuminga has seen limited playing time in the 2023 NBA Playoffs and did not play in the first game.

However, the former seventh-overall pick played ten minutes and had three points, two rebounds and one assist in the victory.

After the game, Kuminga sent out a tweet that is getting a lot of traction on Twitter.

Kuminga Tweeted: "Chase Center much love tonight Great Win!! 💙💛  #dubnation"

Kuminga is in his second year and averaged 9.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest while shooting 52.5% from the field during the regular season.

The Warriors defeated the Sacramento Kings in the first round in seven games (the series ended on Sunday afternoon).

Therefore, they had a quick turnaround when they faced the Lakers on Tuesday.

In the first game, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson combined to shoot just 19/49 from the field, while they shot 18/30 in Game 2.

On defense, the Warriors were also able to contain eight-time All-Star Anthony Davis, who scored 30 points and grabbed 23 rebounds in Game 1 (he had only 11 points and seven rebounds).

With Games 3 and 4 in Los Angeles, they will need to win at least one on the road to avoid falling into a 3-1 hole in the series.
