Jordan Poole Blooper Is Going Viral In Wizards-Pistons Game

Jordan Poole had his shot blocked during Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the Washington Wizards are in Michigan facing off against the Detroit Pistons.

During the first half, Jordan Poole had a nice move to create an open shot.

However, Poole decided to try to scoop the ball toward the basket and got his shot swatted out of bounds by Ausar Thompson.

The play is going viral on social media.

Poole came into the evening with averages of 17.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 39.9% from the field and 28.6% from the three-point range in 15 games.

He was back in the starting lineup after missing Saturday's game against Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks with an ankle injury

The Wizards lost the game by a score of 136-108 and allowed six players on the Hawks to score in double-digits.

The Wizards are 2-14 in their first 16 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are in the middle of a nine-game losing streak and 1-8 in the nine games they have played on the road away from Washington, D.C.

Following the Pistons, the Wizards will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit the Orlando Magic in Florida.

Poole is in his first season with Washington after getting traded (via the Golden State Warriors) over the offseason.

The former Michigan star had spent the first four seasons of his career in Golden State and helped them win the 2022 NBA Championship over the Boston Celtics.
