Jordan Poole Throws Down Ridiculous Dunk In Pacers-Wizards Game

On Friday evening, the Washington Wizards hosted the Indiana Pacers in Washington, D.C.   

The Wizards won the game by a score of 137-123, which snapped a six-game losing streak. 

Kyle Kuzma led the team with 31 points and five rebounds. 

Jordan Poole had a big night, putting up 30 points, four rebounds, eight assists and one steal while shooting 12/18 from the field and 3/4 from the three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time.  

During the game, the former Michigan star also threw down a big dunk

With the victory, the Wizards improved to 4-20 in their first 20 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference.  

They are 2-8 in the ten games they have hosted on their home floor and will play their next game on Sunday when they visit Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns in Arizona. 

Poole is in his first season with Washington after getting traded (via the Golden State Warriors) over the offseason.  

He had spent four years with Golden State and helped them win the 2022 NBA Championship over the Boston Celtics.  

Right now, Poole is averaging 16.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 41.5% from the field and 30.4% from the three-point range in 24 games. 

As for the Pacers, they fell to 13-10 in their first 23 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They will play their next game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday (at the Target Center).
